He also noted that this year Ukraine will face the UN resolution, condemning the abduction and eviction of the children. Vladimir Zelensky added that our country is hoping to support work in this direction from the United States.
“Senator Graham and I have introduced a bill recognized by Russia as a state, a sponsor of terrorism, if it does not return the abducted children,” Richard Blumenthal said.
In addition, during the meeting we discussed the importance of strengthening sanctions against Russia, the use of frozen properties and the further development of cooperation in the United States, especially in the context of the mineral agreement.
“This is a sphere I pay attention to. And in our Foreign Committee on Foreign Affairs of the House of Representative we provided additional support, including expanding a cooperation with mineral security issues. I think it would be a great way for our countries – to really provide this support,” Kim emphasized.
