The commander of one of the military units Rivne forced his subordinates to build a house.
The officer included three subordinates in construction work instead of service. Two drivers and electricians were involved in the construction of the estate of an official in the Lviv region. However, on paper they “served” in Rivne and received a salary from the budget. This was reported on September 23 to the State Bureau of Investigations.
Investigators learned that they lasted more than a year and a half. Since March 2024, more than 1.3 million O. 3 million was illegally paid from the budget of a military unit.
On September 17, law enforcement officers conducted searches on the construction site and found two fighters. Now they returned to the service. And the third soldier works in the Sumi region.
The commander was detained and reported suspicion in the framework of the second part of art. 28 hours 5 art. 426–1 (an excess of a military official and official powers that caused serious consequences made in the conditions of martial law, according to the previous conspiracy by a group of persons) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. He was elected a preliminary measure of detention with the possibility of a pledge of 1.3 million US dollars. The attacker threatens up to 12 years in prison.
We recall that in the Dnieper detained a former commander of a military unit who earned the desertion of the fighters. A former officer, together with two civilians, organized the escape of military personnel directly from the units. And the accomplices have already crossed the border. Such “services” costs from 5 to 7 thousand dollars.
