Many EU member countries are still imported by Russian pipeline gas and liquid natural gas (lng). We talk about eight states.

At least eight European Union countries still import Russian gas to some volumes. The Guardian reported it.

According to the EU spokesperson in Anna-Qaysa Itkonen energy, a number of blocks of the block were still imported by Russian pipeline gas and liquid natural gas (LNG). The EU has no data on which the imported gas is used.

Russian gas groups include Belgium, France, Greece, Hungary, Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain.

According to the media, on September 19, the European Commission proposes to ban the importation of Russian liquefied gas (LNG) until January 1, 2027. This is one year earlier than before planned. One of the reasons is Trump’s pressure on the block.

Remember, Trump twice passed a request for EU and NATO countries to stop buying oil and gas in Russia. The American leader believes that penalties in Europe against the Russian Federation are “not tough enough”, so they need to be strengthened.
