The US president believes it would be easier for him to resolve the war between Russia and Ukraine thanks to Putin relationships, but incidentally.

Donald Trump, on the second day of his state visit to the UK, discussed the end of the war in Ukraine for meetings with Prime Minister Kirmar. Trump reiterated that it was a more difficult task to end the war in Ukraine than he thought at first.

Putin failure

“He failed me. He really let me down,” the US president said of Vladimir Putin. “I have completely failed this (conflict with Ukraine) is not yet allowed,” Trump added.

Once again Trump repeated one of his favorite thesis if he, and not Joe Biden the US president, would not be a war.

“I hope we will have the good news on this topic,” Trump said, without explaining what he meant.

“We work together to stop the killings in Ukraine,” Starmer said at a joint meeting with Trump after negotiations.

“In recent days, Putin has shown his real man, who has made the biggest attack from the beginning of the invasion. More and more blood have been dropped, more and more innocent people have died. An unidentified violation of NATO’s airspace. It is not the actions of a person who wants peace,” the Prime Minister continued.

Oil is the main topic

Answering a question about sanctions against Russia, Trump, or Starmer gave a concrete answer, but both leaders have said that European countries should be as dependent on Russia’s energy as possible.

“I’m willing to go to other steps, but not when the people I suffered were buying oil from Russia,” the US president said.

“If oil prices decrease, everything is very simple, Russia (to live in Ukraine),” Trump said.

Europe is not in a hurry

Hungary and Slovakia have increased Russian oil purchases since Putin began a full -scale Ukraine invasion in 2022. And these two countries are not ready to reduce Russian oil and gas oil imports until reliable alternative energy sources appeared, Bloomberg wrote.

“Before we can fully fulfill the obligations, we need to have the appropriate conditions – otherwise we will risk serious damage to our industry and economy,” said Denis Sakov, Slovakia’s economic minister. And the head of the Prime Minister of Hungary Galyash has confirmed that Budapest will reject any EU initiatives that are jealous of the country’s energy security.
