President Vladimir Zelensky has signed a martial Ombudsman martial law. This is proven by data on the card of the Document No. 13266 on Thursday, September 18.
As you know, yesterday Verkhovna Rada enacted a law in the Military Ombudsman in the second reading. The document was supported by 283 people’s representatives.
The legislative initiative now provides the military, whose rights are violated, can file an official complaint directly to the military’s Ombudsman. After that, in his unit they will conduct auditors.
Generally, the document determines the legal status, activities and basis of military ombudsman activities – a new institution aimed at protecting the rights and freedoms of military personnel.
Remember that in December 2024, Zelensky signed a command at the Olga Reshetilova (Kbylinskaya) appointment that allowed the President of Ukraine to protect the rights of military personnel and members of the Families of Warriors.
And before that, he announced the creation of the Ombudsman institution of the military to protect the rights of military and their families. The relevant request was submitted by the military.
