The head of the state confirmed the allocation of two new support packages from the states according to the purl mechanism.
The first two packages within the Purl Program (a list of Ukraine’s priority needs) contain missiles for Patriot and Himars Air Defense Systems. This was announced by President Vladimir Zelensky during a press conference with the President of European Parliament Robert Matsola on Wednesday, September 17.
“We got more than 2 billion currencies from our partners specifically for the Purl program. We’ll get more money in October. I think we’ll have 3-3.5 billion somewhere.
Remember, according to media reports, the Donald Trump administration approved two military assistance packages in Ukraine, each cost was $ 500 million. This initiative provides for the supply of weapons from American reserves, while costs are covered by NATO member countries.
Earlier, Zelensky announced his desire to implement all agreements on providing air defense systems before winter.
