The Cabinet of Ministers approved the draft state budget for 2026.
Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko announced this today, September 16.
Now the whole of Ukraine should be in the army or for the army. It also reflects the state budget for 2026, ”she emphasized.
It is noted that the state budget expenditures are determined at the UAH level 4.8 trillion (+415 billion hryvnias since 2025), income – 2 trillion 826 billion UAH (+446.8 billion UAH or 18.8% from 2025).
The deficit is predicted at the level of up to 18.4% of GDP (-3.9 percentage points by 2025).
According to Sviridenko, the need for external financing will be 2 trillion UAX 79 billion.
According to her, the main priority of the budget will be security, protection and social stability.
The government directs all its income and borrowing the forces of the defense – financial support of the military and their families, strengthening air defense, the development and production of their own weapons, including drones, ”she added.
It is planned to spend 2.8 trillion (27.2% of GDP), which is 168.6 billion euros more than in 2025. At least 44.3 billion Stoinov
The support of other areas will include:
- Education – UAH 265.4 billion (+66.5 billion UAH by 2025);
- Science – UAH 19.9 billion (+5.4 billion by 2025);
- Healthcare – UAH 258 billion (+38 billion UAH by 2025);
- Pension provision – 1 trillion UAH 27 billion (+123.4 billion of jewelry by 2025). Indexation of pensions is provided;
- Social sphere – UAH 467.1 billion (+45.3 billion UAH by 2025);
- Politics of veterans, assistance in integration in the company – 17.9 billion (+6.1 billion of liquors by 2025);
- Agro -industrial complex – UAH 13.1 billion (+3.5 billion of jurisdictions by 2025);
- Culture – UAH 15.8 billion (+4.7 billion. Juits by 2025);
- State investments in the restoration and modernization of Ukraine – UAH 45.9 billion (+12.4 billion UAH by 2025);
- Business support – UAH 41.5 billion.
The total income of the communities will amount to 871.9 billion USA (+162.3 billion US dollars of 2025), including intergovernmental transfer to local budgets from the total state budget fund in 2026, will amount to 289.3 billion USA.
