In Transcarpathia, 33-year-old Lvivov tried to cross the border with a fake passport by a Saudi Arabia citizen’s passport. It was reported by the State Border Service on Sunday, September 14th.
The offender is confined to the small bereznoye checkpoint while trying to go to Slovakia. At first, the man pretended to be a foreigner and spoke in English, but after exposing he took his true Ukrainian passport.
To avoid responsibility, the Lvivian offered the guards of the border a bribe of 100 thousand hryvnias. The inspector refused and called the police.
The offender admitted that a fake document for $ 550 received from Saudi Arabia, where his father lived. He himself plans to go to the relatives in Belgium.
For the use of a fake passport and the offer of a bribe against someone, criminal proceedings have begun.
