If the Security Council does not stop at the new phase of Russia’s rise, the world is on the edge of the third world war.

Ukraine’s permanent representative at UN Andrei Melnik criticized the security council’s inaction and emphasized that Russian attacks using drones in Poland’s airspace was a serious threat worldwide. Regarding this on Saturday, September 13, reported Ukrinform.

During the UN Security Council meeting, Melnik said provocations from Russia were part of a committed approach for increasing conflict and war spread on European territory. And if Moscow’s invasion is left without the right answer, it could lead to the beginning of the Third World War, the permanent representative of Ukrainians believed.

The diplomat recalled that the day of 201, the Security Council adopted a resolution calling for the stop of war, but the world did not come. Instead, Russia’s invasion continues: Ukraine is attacked, and drones are now going to Poland.

“Moscow is deliberately spreading this fire in Europe, now putting deadly drones in Poland’s airspace,” Melnik said.

In his belief, it was “Russia’s conscious decision to cross the next red line and experience the patience of the international community.”

According to Melnik, without decisive action in the future, attacks may concern other countries.

“Tomorrow it can be drones or even missiles that fall into other European countries. And the day after tomorrow – who knows – there may be” accidental “to fly to the Atlantic.”

Melnik also emphasized that the security council should fulfill his “sacred duty” and adopt an immediate resolution at the end of the hate.

Launching drones in Ukraine and now in Poland – “It’s not just a scorching of the security council, it’s a saliva on your face,” Melnik said. “And yet politely pretending it was just rain,” the permanent representative added. In his opinion, if the Security Council does not stop the new phase of Russia’s rise, then the world is on the edge of the third world war.

He called all UN member states, especially EU, USA, Great Britain, Canada, Japan and Australia, and the coordination of penalties that step to stop Russian military invasion.

Remember that the United States has accused Russia of violating international law. The corresponding document received the support of 43 countries and called on Moscow to refrain from any further provocations.

Earlier, the President of Finland shared a peaceful plan for Ukraine. Alexander Stubb recommends a two -stage approach: first, a ceasefire is required as a requirement for negotiations between Vladimir Zelensky and Vladimir Putin.
