The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Great Britain Ivett Cooper, on his first visit to Kyiv in his position. The head of the Ukrainian state announced it on Facebook on Friday, September 12.
“The following steps were discussed in detail: the following steps in the coalition of the desires and develop security guarantees with a special emphasis on a powerful Ukrainian army, additional defense support, the implementation of a drones making agreement developed in Ukraine, strengthening air defense and prolonged opportunities,” the President wrote.
He thanked Great Britain for a package of sanctions against Russia.
“It is important to continue developing this pressure so that the Russian military engine will eventually stop. Thanks to Ukraine’s financial support, in particular, for allocating 142 million pounds to prepare for the winter,” Zelensky’s summary.
