Poland temporarily limits the air movement along the borders with Belarus and Ukraine.
Restrictions in the eastern part of the country were imposed on reasons of national security. The ban on flights will be valid for three months. This will relate to civilian aircraft and drones. Military aviation will be an exception. Air traffic restriction will last until December 9th. It is reported by RMF 24.
It is noted that flights along the Ukrainian and Belarusian borders may be allowed after coordination with the operational service of the Center for Air Operations. The only condition for this is that these flights should help in the event of a threat of life or health of people or animals, in particular during natural disasters, disasters, environmental threats or emergency situations.
In addition, flights can afford if there are situations related to the protection and control of critical infrastructure.
Recall that on the night of September 10, Russian drones invaded the airspace of Poland and flew hundreds of kilometers deep. The Poles and their NATO allies raised combat aircraft in the air, and hostile drones were carried out by combat work. Subsequently, a fragment of one rocket and 15 drones was discovered on the territory of Poland.
After the night invasion, the North Atlantic Alliance activated Article 4 of the NATO agreement, which provides for consultations with the allies. And Warsaw invited additional air defense systems and a “wall of drones”.
