The suspect did not name the specific area where he could dispose of the weapon, it was a place of forests.
Law enforcement officials have not yet found weapons used to kill a representative of a person and former Verkhovna Rada chairman of Ukraine Andrei Parubiy. The deputy head of the LVIV Regional Prosecutor’s Office Alexei Umanets said the search continues in the forest, which the suspect has indicated in the crime. On Tuesday, September 9, writes Liberty Radio.
“Currently, the search for weapons continues. At the moment, people are working on the places the suspect indicates the murder. He does not change his testimony. He indicates more than one place, the search continues. He does not call the specific place where he did (discarded the weapon – Ed.), This is a forest area,” said Umanets.
At the scene of the crime, experts found eight carts, and four bullets hit the body of the deceased.
According to the prosecutor’s office representative, law enforcement officials conducted a detailed search in all known areas of the suspect, including the area where he lived and maintained the vehicle.
“He lives in a place where he keeps the vehicle. A massive set of information that needs to be processed, including checking all versions. Of the major, is personal revenge, revenge or murder. I don’t think the victim has some personal relationship with the suspect to put a version about their personal relationship,” he said.
Remember that the tragedy took place on August 30 on one of the streets of Lviv. The murder suspect – Mikhail Schelnikov – was detained on September 1 night in the Khmelnitsky region.
The SBU said investigators consider the possible involvement of special services of the Russian Federation. And according to media reports, the detainee acted under the Russian control.
Earlier, the suspect’s actions qualified under articles on accidental killing and illegal handling of weapons (part 1 of Article 115, part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Later, the case of Parubiy’s murder was re -identified.
