French President Emmanuel Macron appointed the new Prime Minister Sebastian Lecton, Minister of the Armed Forces in the previous government.

It is noted that Macron instructed Lekorton to first consult with political forces “to conclude the necessary measures to make decisions in the coming months.”
He was instructed to negotiate with the political forces represented in parliament to make the state budget and prepare decisions that would determine the policy for the next period, the press service of the President of France said.
It is expected that after consultation, Lecorton will present the composition of the macron of his government.
Thus, Lekorton will be the seventh prime minister during the presidency of Macron and the fifth of the beginning of his second term in 2022.
