During the day on August 1, the enemy launched two powerful missile attacks – a total of eight missiles were fired. Four airstrikes were also recorded in the communities of the region.
“The Russians used artillery seven times, used mortars twice more, attracted tanks,” the head of the Luhansk region pointed out, adding that the Ukrainian Armed Forces rejected the attacks.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian troops concentrated their efforts in the directions of Bakhmut and Avdeevsky, there were battles in the area of Bakhmut and Zaitsevo.
