During a visit to Lithuania, the President of Poland said he had different opinions on this issue with the Latvian colleague.
The President of Poland Karol Navrotsky, during a visit to Lithuania, said he had different opinions with his Latvian colleague Gitanas Nauceda regarding the issue of Ukraine’s entry into the EU. This was reported by the Lithuanian Media LRT.
The media recalled that according to Nauceda, it was necessary to be promoted on January 1, 2030, the date of entry of Ukraine to the EU.
Navrotsky says he has a “more modest” position on this issue.
“The President and I have many different views on integrating Ukraine in the EU. Our conversations will continue to another level … I will not exclude the possibility of complete unity in Ukraine, but these are issues that only remember Poland and Ukraine,” Navrotsky said.
Earlier, President Polish Karol Navrotsky’s administration emphasized the need to resolve historical opposition from KYIV and added that without Ukraine’s specific actions in this direction it would be difficult to achieve developing bilateral relationships.
