The Russians opened fire on the Sumy region three times a day. A total of 16 arrivals were recorded. This was announced on Monday, August 1, by the head of the OVA of the Sumy region, Dmitry Zhivitsky.
“Today, during the day, the Russians carried out three attacks on the border communities of the region, 16 arrivals were recorded,” said Zhivitsky.
He noted that at about 12.00 there was Belopolye artillery, after 14.00 – the enemy carried out mortar shelling of the Khotyn community, and at night – from 18.20 to 19.30 – the artillery of the Esman community continued.
“Fortunately, in all cases without casualties and destruction,” – said Zhivitsky.
Let’s remind, on the night of August, the 1st troops of the Russian Federation struck Nikolaev again. More than 70 residential buildings were damaged, as well as the trauma center area of one of the hospitals, humanitarian staff with medical preparations. Among the civilians there were dead and wounded. Their number is specified.
And in Donetsk region, three more people died due to shelling – two in Bakhmut and one in Soledar. 16 residents of Donbass were injured.
