The second recent Russian tank, which carries liquid natural gas, has arrived in China.

The second Russian tank that carries liquid natural gas has reached before China. Reuters reported it.

It has been mentioned that Russian Tanker-Gazotsk tanker Vostok is anchored to the LNG terminal at the port of Teshan in the southwestern province of Guangsi in China. A tanker under the Russian flag with a load of 150,000 cubic meters of LNG was uploaded to the Arctic LNG factory 2 in a guide to northern Siberia on July 19.

This is the second shipment from the project of penalties, delivered to China, after the end of August, the Arctic Mulan Tanker, which is also under the penalties, arrived at the LNG terminal in Bauhaii.

As you know, mining on the Arctic Project framework began in December 2023, however, gas supplies were behind the schedule due to the lack of class gas carriers and western penalties. The Arctic LNG 2, 60% of shares belonging to Russian Company Novatek, should be one of the largest LNG plants with a target capacity of 19.8 million tons per year, but penalties crossed its prospects.

It is reported that two more tanks with Russian gas have been -mored on the Kamchatka Peninsula in the far east of Russia, and the third is located in the South China Sea between Taiwan and Hainan Island.

Remember that from the beginning of an entire war against Ukraine, the number of vessels in the so-called “Shadow Fleet” of Russia grew at least three times less than 100 tanks in the early 2022 to 300-600 at the beginning of 2025.
