The White House leader said he would be happy if Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin arrived in the USA for the G20 Summit.
US President Donald Trump said he will consider Russia’s invitation to the next G20 Summit, which will be held in Miami, Florida. He said this at a press conference on Friday, September 5.
Thus, the White House leader announced that the great twenty summit of 2026 will be held in the United States for the first time in 20 years, and Miami will be the place of its handling.
Answering journalists’ questions about whether the Russian Federation would take part in the summit, he did not exclude this option.
“It’s an interesting -kind question, I didn’t think about it. I had to think about it for a few hours,” Trump said.
However, he later added that he would be glad if the leader of China Xi Jinping and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin arrived in the USA at the G20.
As you know, the G20 Summit of 2025 will be held in Johannesburg in November. State Secretary Marco Rubio refused to participate in it because of the policy of the South Africa Republic, who led the organization in 2025. It will participate in US vice president Jay Di Venus.
