The Russian government has compiled a “white list” of sites, access to which will be available when turning off mobile Internet.
The Russian Ministry of Ming said that this list includes “the most popular and socially significant Russian services and sites.” At the same time, the Department did not give specific resource names
Russian agency “RBC” with reference to informed sources reports that on this list:
- All public sites;
- Services of subordination of Russian IT companies “Yandex” and Portal Mail.Ru;
- Social networks Vkontaktik and Odnoklassniki, as well as the Zen blog platform;
- Video Services Rutube and Kinopoisk;
- several banks;
- personal offices of mobile operators;
- Markets, Russian online cards, taxi services, delivery services and supermarket sites;
- The list will also include the National Messenger Max.
This list also plans to add trade and tourism services sites.
Representatives of Megaphone and Panpelk (Beline “Brand) reported that the corresponding mechanism for accessing sites from the” White “list is already working on their networks.
In recent months, in different regions of the Russian Federation they began to temporarily disconnect the mobile Internet, explaining it as if the need to resist the mass attacks of Ukrainian drones. At the same time, the Russian Federation is afraid that in this way the authorities are preparing for the complete closure of access to foreign online resources in the country.
