US President Donald Trump requires greater pressure on Russia and China.
On Thursday, September 4, the American leader during the online meeting with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and European leaders said that Europe was “financed by war” through the procurement of Russian oil. Trump emphasized that Europeans should abandon Russian energy and convince China to do the same. This was reported by Axios with reference to US officials.
The nameless official said that the country of the aggressor received 1.1 billion euros from the sale of fuel to the European Union in one year. In addition, the White House master called on European leaders to exert economic pressure on China to finance the Russian military machine.
The president was friendly, but very simple in his demand for Europe to exert greater pressure on Russia, the official is quoted.
Recall that on August 6, US President Donald Trump issued an executive decree, which provides for an additional 25% of customs tariffs against India through the purchase of Russian oil.
