Representative of the Taliban administration Zabhulla Mujahid said: At least 1411 people were killed, 3124 were injured, more than 5400 homes were destroyed.
According to him, the number of victims could be increased as a rescue work.
At the same time, according to the Afghan Humanitarian Organization, the Afghan Red Crescent, as a result of the disaster, at least 3251 people were injured, and more than 8,000 homes were destroyed.
As we have written, on September 1, an earthquake of magnitude 6.0 occurred in the eastern Afghanistan regions. At first, at least 250 dead were reported.
