The head of the presidential office Andriy Jermak met with the special representative of the United States Donald Trump Steve Vitkov.
The meeting took place on Friday, August 29, in Washington. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Sergey Kislitsa also participated in a conversation. The Ukrainian delegation, in particular, told the interlocutor about the Russian strike of Kyiv, which led to death 23 people. The head of the Office of Zelensky reported this on Telegram.
Unfortunately, Russia does nothing necessary for the end of the war, and, obviously, puts off battles. Ukraine maintains the decisive attitude of President Trump and all partners in order to reach a long world as soon as possible.
Yermak assured that Kyiv has a positive perception of Washington’s peaceful proposals and emphasized that Moscow slows down each of these proposals.
In addition, the chairman said that the Ukrainian side was opened for direct negotiations at the level of leaders and is ready to discuss the widest range of issues. And he emphasized that it is necessary to insist on the Russian Federation in order to move to the world.
In addition, Jermak invited Vitcoff to visit Ukraine in the near future.
Recall that Bloomberg said that at a meeting with the special presidential envoy of the United States, Steve Vitkov, presidential chancellery Andriy Yermak and the secretary of national security and protection of Rustam Umarov will discuss a possible future bilateral meeting between the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky.
