Zelensky emphasized the importance of the penalty policy and the corresponding reaction to Russia’s refusal to cooperate with the leaders’ format.
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held an important conversation with Karol Navrotsky and four other European leaders, where they discussed coordination of joint actions on the eve of major diplomatic events, support for Ukraine in the context of war and boosting pressure on Russia. This is the president of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky on his telegram channel on the night of August 28th.
The negotiations were attended by the President of Poland, Prime Minister of Denmark Mette Fredericksen, Presidents of Lithuania Gitanas Nauceda, Estonia Alar Karis and Latvia Edgers Rinkevichs.
The head of the state expressed gratitude to European partners for unity, especially for Ukraine’s support related to Russia’s latest massive flow. In addition, Zelensky has announced condolences in Poland due to tragic crash of the F-16 fighter plane, claiming the life of the Poland pilot.
The President emphasized that in order to achieve peace it is necessary to maintain unity and increase pressure in Moscow. He focused on the importance of the penalty policy and the corresponding reaction to Russia’s refusal to cooperate in the format of the leaders. Zelensky also noted the importance of continuing coordination of positions between partners from Europe to produce a single and loud voice to be heard in the USA.
It should be noted that earlier Zelensky announced negotiations with the Trump team.
As previously reported, US President Donald Trump has promised decisive actions against the Russian Federation through the next “two weeks” if Vladimir Putin does not agree with a meeting with Zelensky.
