De Souza cited an example of Trump’s promises to tighten the sanctions against the Kremlin, which, despite regular threats, were never introduced.
The president of Portugal Marcelly Rebel de Souza expressed the opinion that the current actions of US President Donald Trump have been given the reason to consider him as a “Russian agent”, for the priority he gives Moscow’s interest in a military conflict against Ukraine. On Thursday, August 28, CNN Portugal reported.
According to the publication, during a youth event at a university in Tag -init, held in the city of Kashtelu de Vida, Rebel de Souza discussed international challenges and political situations. Today, he also participated in a discussion entitled “The Replate of the President”, in which he described the style of political leadership of Donald Trump as more emotional and aimed at direct communication with the people. At the same time, he noted that such an approach brings a threat to global balance.
The President emphasized that, in fact, Trump acts as a Soviet or Russian agent. He pointed out that it was not concerned with any economic, ideological or alliance in the doctrine, but rather strategic support for Russia from the new American leadership.
“Objectively, the new US leadership is strategically contributing to the Russian Federation,” he said.
De Souza cited an example of Trump’s promises to strengthen sanctions against the Kremlin, which, despite regular threats, were never introduced.
Rebel de Souza said the United States has been from allies to a conflict manager, but at the same time they talk exclusively in Russia, excluding Ukraine and Europe from the process. In his opinion, this is a serious problem for international cooperation and stability in the region.
In conclusion, De Sauza added that Europe has diminished the “meaning of Trump and Trumpism” and does not expect such radical changes to the White House policy.
Remember that the White House said Trump is seeking to complete the Russian war against Ukraine, but Putin and Zelensky need it too.
As the media wrote, US president Donald Trump was not satisfied with the requirements of the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky and Europe to complete the war.
