The State Service for Ethno Polysia and Freedom of Conscience recognized the capital of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) with the Russian Orthodox Church, whose activities in Ukraine are prohibited in accordance with Article 3 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Protection of the Constitution of the Constitution in Ukraine in the field of religious organizations”.
This is indicated in the DEX statement published today, August 28.
It is noted that the results of the relevant study revealed signs of belonging to the capital’s UOC from ROC, which is a violation of the Law of Ukraine “On Freedom of Conscience and Religious Organizations”. Accordingly, CM UOC sent UOC to eliminate a violation of this law.
In his letter, the head of the capital Uoc Onufri announced the refusal to fulfill the specified order.
Consequently, due to the lack of grounds for concluding that the violations or fallacy of the presented DEX recipe recognized CM UOC with ROC.
According to the results of the study, the study in DESS concluded that CM UOC is part of ROC. In particular, ROC has the right to make mandatory decisions on church and organizational issues, the heads of CM are obliged to be part of the ROC governing bodies.
