The Berlin Administrative Court has already identified illegal actions, but the final judicial skill has not been developed.
Since May, enhanced border checks introduced by the Minister of Internal Law Alexander Dobrindt have been forced to Germany. According to the Ministry of Internal, from then on about 11,900 people have refused to enter the entrance, among them – 660 people with applications for the provision of asylum. Tagesschau reported this on Wednesday, August 27th.
The legitimacy of such actions remains controversial. As legal experts Ard Frank Biglatami noted, the Berlin Administrative Court has previously recognized denials among asylum applicants that the EU is contrary to. If other courts support this position to this day an open question.
Dobrindt, in turn, considers measures that are completely legal and they are called “successful.” In an ARD commentary, he emphasized that decisions correspond to both German and European laws.
Improved checks mean additional loading for federal police. At the same time, in the German police (DPOLG), it was called to gradually reduce the number of power involved, as the flow of migrants is now reduced.
Nonetheless, the government awoke the EU to expand the control. According to Dobrindt, it is possible to leave it alone when the external boundaries of the European Union are protected more reliable.
Earlier, the Minister of Internal Law of Germany, Alexander Dobrindt announced his desire to strengthen the country’s transfer policy following the Denmark example.
