A suspect, armed resident of the house where the search was held, fleeing and now free.
The man opened a fire to the top ten policemen in the town of Australia of Porepunk Victoria on Tuesday, August 25. The shooting led to the deaths of the two officers. Another is in the hospital in serious condition, reports The Guardian.
Commissar chief Mike Bush said that as a result of the shooting, the 59-year-old detective and 35-year-old Senior Constable were killed, and another detective was injured and remained in a difficult but stable state.
The suspect, a resident of the house where the search was held, fled and is now large. Law enforcement officials plan to publish a picture of someone in the near future. According to police, he was armed.
In addition to this, his partner and perhaps two children were also gone.
Porepunk residents were called to stay at home. All Victorian police specialized police sources are involved in the search for the suspect.
