A new government coalition was formed in Lithuania, which included the Social Democratic Party, the Neman party, as well as the faction of the farmers’ union and the Green Lithuania and the Union of Christian Families.
The Lithuanian Seim of Lithuania approved the Social Democratus Inga Ruginen candidate for the prime minister’s post. It was reported on the Lithuanian Parliament website on Tuesday, August 26th.
Ruginen’s candidacy, nominated by the president of Gitanas Nauceda, approved 78 SEJM members, 35 voted “against”, 14 – avoid.
Formally, Inga Ruginn will become a prime minister when the president issues an order at the Prime Minister’s appointment and will take the oath to SEJM.
Ruginn will also have 15 days to bring the government program to vote on SEJM. The government will officially start working after the parliament of the new program.
The vote took place after the new coalition was formed on the eve of Lithuania. This includes the Social Democratic Party (LSDP), the Zorya Party of the Zorya Niman (Nemuno Aušra) and the faction of the Union of Farmers and the Green Lithuania and the Union of Christian Families (LVžs-Kšs).
Remember, on August 4, the Lithuanian government, led by Prime Minister Gintutol Palutskas, who worked for less than a year, resigned.
Earlier it was reported that Palutskas decided to resign after starting to ask more and many questions about his past businessman. The journalistic investigation showed that Garnis, the co -Founder where he, received a subsidized loan of 200 thousand euros from the National Development Bank, which Palutskas served as Prime Minister.
