Grain export: Turkey announces arrival date of first ship

The passage of the Razoni spacecraft is now being monitored at the Joint Coordination Center, Hulusi Akar said.

The first ship from the port of Odessa, which is now making a passage along the “grain corridor”, will arrive in Istanbul on August 2 at 15.00, where the cargo will be checked. This is what Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar said, Anadolu reported on Monday, August 1.

“After the ship anchors, a joint delegation of representatives from Russia, Ukraine, Turkey and the UN will arrive and inspect the cargo at the Joint Coordination Center,” the minister said.

He mentioned that the passage of the ship is now being monitored at the Joint Coordination Center.

“We have applied the procedures and principles we agreed upon regarding the vessel and we expect the process to continue without any hiccups,” Akar added.

As you know, on July 22, an agreement was signed in Istanbul to launch a “grain corridor” from Ukraine. It started working on August 1 – the first ship with grain left the port of Odessa – it was 26 thousand tons of corn for Lebanon.
