People’s Deputy Anatoly Gunko received a Breguet watch worth more than 10 thousand dollars from his assistant as a gift.
The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption has drawn up administrative protocols against people’s representatives from Civil Servant Anatoly Gunko and Alexander Gaidu, as well as some local officials. This was reported on the NAPC website on Monday, August 1.
“NAPC issued an administrative protocol against MP Anatoly Gunko, who received a Breguet watch worth more than 10,000 US dollars as a gift from his assistant,” the report said.
Also, anti-corruption officials reported that administrative protocols were drawn up regarding the conflict of interest in relation to citizen representative Oleksandr Gaydu – in connection with the exercise of a representative’s right to appeal to private interests.
The same conflict of interest protocols were drawn up in respect of the mayor of Novograd-Volynsk, Zhytomyr region, Nikolai Borovets. During his participation in the elections for the position of mayor, he received a voluntary contribution to his election fund from an individual.
And the protocol against the chairman of the Umansky district council of the Cherkasy region, Vitaliy Oliynyk, was drawn up for the fact that he, at the same time as using his powers, was the director of the LLC for a year.
Recall that by the end of 2021, NACP revealed violations worth UAH 1.2 billion in officials’ declarations. In fact, every third declaration disclosed violations that provide for criminal or administrative liability.
