Alexey Reznikov expressed his gratitude to Germany and personally to the Minister of Defense Christine Lambrecht for this weapon.

German multiple launch rocket systems MARS-II arrived in Ukraine. This was announced by Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov on Twitter on Monday, August 1.

According to him, MARS-II is “the third brother of the Long Hand family.”

“Thanks to Germany and personally to my colleague Defense Minister Christina Lambrecht for these systems. Our gunners salute our German partners,” Reznikov wrote.

It should be noted that last week in Germany they announced the transfer of three MARS-II installations for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. These cars are actually copies of the American MLRS270.

In addition, last week Germany provided three Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled artillery mounts.

Earlier, Germany published a list of weapons that have been or will be delivered to Ukraine. It includes 30 ZSU Gepard, air defense system (air defense) IRIS-T, three multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) Mars and other weapons.
