Russian “shahed” or gerbera burned the corn field. In response, Warsaw is preparing a protest note in Moscow.
At night, from Tuesday to Wednesday to the east of Poland, a Russian drone fell. As a result, the corn field was burned and the windows knocked on many houses. An hour before, in the west of Ukraine, an aircraft signal sounded, but Poland’s air defense systems did not record violations of their airspace.
What to know about the incident
According to local media, the drone fell to the corn field in the village of Osin east of Lublin Voivodeship, little more than 100 km from the Ukrainian border and about 40 km in Warsaw.
At the scene of the explosion there is a funnel with a radius of about 5-6 m and a depth of 50-60 cm. In addition, the windows knocked on many houses with an explosion, but no one was injured, the Pap National Information Agency reported.
“I was sitting in my room at night, maybe at midnight, and heard something crashing,” said Lucow.tv local resident Pavel Pavel Lucow.tv.
“It exploded loudly as the whole house just shook his head,” he added.
An hour before, in the Volyn and Lviv regions of Ukraine sounded a siren of air anxiety. However, violations of Poland’s airspace are “not fixed.”
“Shahed” or Herbera
Poland Stanislav Bloat’s Deputy Minister of Defense said investigators are suspected of “maybe not with full confidence, but there is a very high possibility,” that the Russian Herbera drone along with the Chinese machine, which “explodes in the air,” fell.
If it were confirmed, it would be the same model that last month was involved in a similar incident in Lithuania.
The military forensic expert, who worked at the scene of the explosion, also confirmed the presence of drone explosives.

At the same time, Poland Radoslav’s Poland’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Minister Sikorsky Pavel Vronsky said the thing that exploded at night on the corn field was the Russian version of the shahed.
He also noted that Poland will send Russia a diplomatic protest record in response to the drone explosion.
“We have seen evidence that Poland’s airspace is also at risk because of this war that something can happen, something can explode, it is dangerous, people may die, and the state security of the Union of the North Atlantic Alliance is at risk,” Vronsky said.
“Russian provocation”
General Daryush Malinovsky, deputy commander of the operational command of the Armed Forces, noted that the drone was launched precisely from Russia.
According to him, this opinion is based on reconnaissance data, because “we do not have a hundred percent confidence that it is … this is the drone, though we know the areas of launching these types of drones, and they are located in Russia.”
Malinovsky added that it is unclear whether this is a deliberate violation of Poland’s airspace or the non -drone mistake directed against Ukraine.
The Vice Prime Minister, Acting Minister of Defense of Poland, Vladislav Kosinyak-Kamysh, believes it is a drive in Russia.
“Russia re -announced NATO countries after incidents with drones occurred in Romania, Lithuania and Latvia,” he said.
“This happens at a particularly important point when discussions about the world continue. It happens at a time with the hope that the war launched by Russia is a war against the state of Ukrainian, but also a war that threatens the security of NATO countries-a chance to end,” Kosinyak Kamysh added.
