On the night of August 1, the Russian army attacked Nikolaev. The rockets hit private homes and the emergency room of one of the hospitals. Three people were injured. This was announced by the head of the Nikolaev OVA Vitaly Kim.
“On the night of August 1, after 01:00 am, Nikolaev again underwent massive shelling. Now we know about the defeat of private houses and farmsteads, as a result of which three people were injured,” he said .
In addition, as a result of shelling, a fire broke out on the territory of the medical dispensary. A humanitarian train with medicines and food was burnt.
The military of the Russian Federation also destroyed the emergency room of one of the hospitals, damaged four buildings, medical vehicles, and shattered windows.
As Nikolaev mayor Alexander Senkevich noted, the emergency room building was partially destroyed. From the shock wave and debris, the windows flew in the nearby medical departments.
“We opened this emergency room at the end of 2019. It was built from scratch. In fact, this is the first building of a medical institution built in the last 20 years in Nikolaev. And it is one of the most modern emergency rooms in Ukraine ,” he says.
Recall that on the night of Monday, August 1, the troops of the Russian aggressor country opened fire on Nikolaev and Kharkov.
In Kharkiv, hits were recorded at a public transport stop and in the courtyard of a multi-storey building.
