The military of the 3rd Corps of the Army of the Armed Forces received from the community of the capital of another 6 thousand drones of different types.
The mayor of Kyiv Vitaly Klitschko announced this on August 18.
Some of these drones, in particular, will receive the military from the 3rd assault brigade, which is part of the corps, which Kyiv has long been helping:
- In total, since the beginning of the year, 400 million US dollars was allocated from the city budget for equipment;
- This winter, the capital was transferred to the fighters of the 3rd assault brigade to the capital for training at FPV-Dron. It was created on the basis of the old MAZ bus, which was completely updated and equipped;
- Last year, the 3rd attack received more than 10 thousand drones and 20 new Toyota Hilux pickups, which were acquired at the expense of the team allocated.
In total, in 2025, the City Council of Kyiv was already supported by the defenders of the city council of Kyiv. According to Klitschko, for soldiers of different crews, Kiyiv sent more than 40,000 UAVs to the front.
