The Embassy of Ukraine in Serbia recommends that fellow citizens refrain from visiting the southern regions of the country. It is stated in message diplomatic mission, published on Sunday evening, July 31.
“We recommend that Ukrainian citizens refrain from visiting the southern regions of Serbia and avoid crowded places. In case of emergency, please call the Embassy’s hotline for Ukrainian citizens +381-63-111-31- 85,” the diplomats urged.
In turn, the spokesman of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Oleg Nikolenko said that in case Ukrainians end up in an emergency situation in Serbia, you can also contact the hotline of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry: +380442381588.
In addition, in the event of further deterioration of the security situation and blocking of roads in southern Serbia, the agency recommends fellow citizens to use the border checkpoints of the Republic of North Macedonia.
Recall that on the eve of the situation on the border between Serbia and Kosovo was aggravated due to Pristina’s decision to impose a ban on the entry of cars with Serbian numbers and documents issued in Serbia from August 1.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said Kosovo was allegedly preparing an attack on Serbs in the northern region of the partially recognized state.
