The State Bureau of Investigations awarded an updated suspicion to chair of Corruption Center Board Vitaly Shabunin, and also reported a new suspicion to the commander of one of Kiev’s regional military units. GBR reported it.

And the commander of one of the military units of the KYIV region’s region was informed of the suspicion -in complexity in avoiding subordinates from the performance of military service duties.
According to the investigation, the commander with a violation of the established procedures sent a soldier to a state body, where he did not fulfill the roles of service or the institutional operations. Instead, he spent time deciding on the capital, moved around the city on personal matters and visited the catering establishments. At the same time, he received financial security and thus illegally seized state funds for more than 224 thousand hryvnias.
In this regard, the commander’s additional increase in helping to prevent subordinates from fulfilling military service roles, made by previous conspiracy and abuse of official position.
“Because the crime conditions changed, the commander, who contributed to the crime through his actions, also changed suspicion, but without changing crime qualifications. He, as usual, was charged with military service and fraud,” said the GBR.
