Saratov oil refinery in Russia has stopped receiving oil after an attack by uninformed aircraft. It was reported on August 11 by Bloomberg.

According to media reports, the refinery, owned by PJSC Rosneft, stopped the operation after the attack occurred on Sunday, August 10. This plant was the third object affected by drone drones this month.

Bloomberg also noted that the situation was developing against the back of an active exchange of airstrikes between the Russian and Ukrainian forces on the eve of the planned meeting of US presidents Donald Trump and Russia Vladimir Putin.

The refinery located in the Volga region has a design capacity of about 140 thousand barrels of oil per day. If the cessation of the plant continues, it can lead to disruptions to internal fuel supplies, which are especially critical during the arrow -growing demand for fuel, the publication added.

Remember that the media and TG channels wrote that on the night of August 10 in Russia City of Saratov, drones invaded oil refinery, a huge fire exploded at the facility.

Earlier it was reported that Russia’s two large refineries were forced to stop labor due to attacks of Ukrainian drones. Novokuybyshevsky refineries with a capacity of 8.3 million tons per year completely stopped issuing, and Ryazan Refinery stopped at about half the capacity.
