Qatar State Foundation Qatar Fund For Development as part of the UNITED24 initiative, donated $5 million for medical aid in Ukraine. This was announced on Saturday, July 30, by the press service of the Ministry of Health.
The Ministry of Health said the funds will be used to purchase ambulances.
Funds will also be used to purchase anesthesia and respiratory devices for inhalation anesthesia during surgical intervention in medical institutions.
“For the first time in the two months of UNITED24’s work, a contribution from a large fund was made for medical aid. Such donations from foundations are very important for us, because we understand that with one payment we can cover a great need,” said Minister of Health of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko.

Qatar Fund For Development – a state development institution, which, on behalf of the state of Qatar, is obliged to implement foreign aid projects. Provides grants, concessional loans, commercial loans, guarantees and development investments.
