The Russians want to “annex to Russia” the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson regions.
The Russian occupiers intensified the methods of infiltration and terror in Kherson. This was announced on Saturday, July 30, by Yuri Sobolevsky, First Deputy Chairman of the Kherson Regional Council, on Telegram.
He emphasized that the intensification of terrorism may be related to the holding of the so-called “referendum” on joining the Russian Federation, which the invaders are preparing.

“For our people, this preparation for the show, unfortunately, will be another increase in the methods of filtering and fear. The invaders are “destroying” Kherson completely – garages, basements, attics , industrial and utility facilities,” he said.
Sobolevsky advised residents to be careful and stay away from the invaders.
“They operate according to Soviet manuals in a planned manner, and they only need to close monthly and calendar targets for exposed extremists, saboteurs and partisans,” he warned.
According to Sobolevsky, in preparation for the “referendum” the occupiers are holding manipulative “public events” such as the “We are with Russia” forum.
“Some trips around the region were also planned by representatives of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, as well as high-level officials. However, the initial schedule of these trips turned out to be “combined”, and it will most likely need to be changed, besides, it is possible that going to Kherson, Moscow VIP will have to go through the water,” added the first deputy chairman of the Kherson Regional Council.
Recall that the Kherson OVA reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine could liberate the Kherson region until the fall.
