In Poland, the first eight AHS Krab self-propelled howitzers, produced under a defense contract in Kyiv, were prepared for shipment to Ukraine. On Saturday, July 30, Polskieradio24 reports.

Also in Poland, the next training of Ukrainian army servicemen, who will command howitzers, is being completed.
In early June, Poland signed a 2.7 billion złoty (about $650 million) defense contract with Ukraine for the sale of Krab self-propelled artillery mounts (ACS) to Ukraine. Ukraine partially receives funds for the purchase of these weapons from the EU, and partially pays from its own budget.
At the same time, Ukraine has already received Polish Krabs earlier, at least, it was reported to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Also, Polish President Andrzej Duda reported that Poland has sent Ukraine more than 240 tanks and nearly 100 armored vehicles to fight the Russian invasion.
