The Kremlin says Trump and Putin Tet-A-TET meeting are said to have planned, however, officials from the White House have been approved by the opposite.
After the contradictory signals, when the special United States envoy, Steve Whitkoff, met for three hours with the Russian leader in Moscow, and then the White House introduced hard -working tariffs against India, referring to Russian military support, American President Donald Trump suddenly announced that Donald Trump had achieved a war against Ukraine.
Later, the statement was confirmed by Putin’s advisor Yuri Uhakov about the preparation for the meeting, but then the White House announced the opposite and named the condition for negotiations exactly – beyond the plot.
The back of Putin
In particular, Ushakov now said the preparations will continue for Putin and Trump next week, but the states have declined that the request for a meeting originated in Russia, saying it was “at the American side suggestion.”
Later, Putin himself confirmed the meeting plans and said the United Arab Emirates would be a niche for him. However, at night, he left his statement, saying “Both sides showed interest. What initially said didn’t matter.”
At the same time, Putin generally rejected the idea of meeting with Zelensky in the near future, saying: “Some conditions should be created for this. Unfortunately, we are still far from creating conditions.”
Trump’s position
Later, the White House generally rejected Kremlin’s statements that Trump and Putin went to the meeting.
A number of American media, citing the resources surrounded by Trump, write that at first Russia’s leader is obliged to meet with the President of Ukraine – just under the conditions that the White House leader agrees to see Putin.
Confusion in Moscow
The Washington Post writes that the preliminary discussion provided for two bilateral meetings – between Trump and Putin, as well as Trump and Zelensky – and then a meeting of all three.
The confusion about whether the president of Russia had agreed to meet in Ukrainian, only to rise after “the Russians tried to somehow hide or reduce” this part of the plan.
The day before, even Uhakov himself did not even emphasize Putin’s deviation from the Sentencoff proposal about the Tripartite Summit with the participation of Trump, Putin and Zelensky.
According to Ushakov, Whitkoff suggested the idea of a Tripartite Summit at a meeting in Moscow, but “Russia’s side is absolutely, completely unable to comment on this option.”
“We propose, first of all, focusing on the preparation of a bilateral meeting with Trump, and we consider the most important that this meeting was successful and productive,” Uhakov commented.
