It is expected that the Cabinet of Ministers will update the work of the bureau, strengthen the institution and achieve trust between BAB and Ukrainian entrepreneurs. Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko announced this on August 6 on Telegram.
It is important that economic relations in Ukraine are not distorted by shadow schemes and that business can count on the respect of the state, ”the Prime Minister emphasized.
It is known that NABU detective Oleksandr Tsivinsky won the competition for the post of director of the Economic Security Bureau in June. Then the cabinet refused to agree on his candidacy. The government mentioned national security, because the father of Tsivinsky lives in Russia. And on August 6 it became known that Alexander Qinski successfully passed the polygraph.
We will recall that in June 2024, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed the law on the restart of the Economic Security Bureau. It is expected that all employees of the Department will undergo mandatory certification. The law was agreed in accordance with the obligations that Ukraine entered the International Monetary Fund of March 24, 2024.
