“We have confirmed that the drone was found. In the near future, further information will be provided,” said Lithuania minister Doville Shakalene.

According to preliminary data, the found that UAV is similar to the Herbera’s Russian drone, which is designed to mislead air defense systems. Military investigators and Sappers were sent to the scene.

It was noted that the search for a Lithuanian military drone lasted for about a week.

It is also reported that Lithuania will establish additional air defense systems on the border with Belarus, considering the drone flew to the country’s airspace a second time.
