In the Belarus territory, there are currently no creation groups that can cause immediate threat to Ukraine. This was announced by Ukraine Andrei Andrei Demchenko’s State Border Service during a speech in the air of the National Telemraphon, Report on Friday, August 1, RBC-Ukraine.
According to the Representative’s Representative, the situation on the Ukrainian-Belarusian border is currently stable, without changes. There are still no signs of developing or having military groups that may threaten Ukraine security. At the same time, Demchenko emphasized that Ukraine should remain as careful as possible.
Speaking of the joint training of Belarus and Russia planned for September, he noted that Ukraine carefully monitored all actions in the territory of a nearby state. Demchenko pointed out that the border direction with Belarus remains potentially dangerous for the country, regardless of the active or passive stage of combined weapon exercises. Accordingly, Ukraine will continue to strengthen the defense steps in this area, in particular, improving the organization of the border engineering.
Separately, the representative noted that during the active phase of training, the risk of threats for Ukraine may increase. In this context, an important role is performed by the work of intelligence, which should evaluate the size of the participation of the Russian forces in the Territory of Belarus and possible situations of their use.
At the same time, Demchenko warned that even with the appeal of a small number of military forces, the possibility of provocations or other terrifying actions on the Border of Ukraine could not be ruled out.
Earlier it was reported that during the joint training of Russia and Belarus West 2025, the military plan to work strikes with tactical nuclear and hazel weapons. It is noted that military exercises will be directed against western countries, they will consider the experience of the war in Ukraine.
