The meeting will take place on August 1 in the agenda item “Maintaining the peace and security of Ukraine.”
Ukraine started an EN Security Council’s emergency meeting in response to a new Russian attack, which led to many sacrifices and destruction at Kyiv on the night of July 31. It was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrei Sybiga on Thursday, July 31.
The minister noted that the meeting was scheduled for August 1. The agenda would consider the issue of “maintaining the peace and security of Ukraine.”
Sybiga emphasized that the actions of the Russian leadership, particularly Putin, show a denial of peaceful effort and the intent to continue the war. At the same time, he is sure that the international community has sufficient determination and unity to stop the aggression through combined -with -the -pressure requirements and the requirements of immediate cessation without conditions.
“Putin rejected efforts for peace and aimed at delaying his war. But the world had enough strength to stop it – thanks to a single pressure and primary position in favor of a complete, immediate and unconditional ceasefire,” the statement said.
From the point of view of Sybigi, the meeting will be an important platform for the announcement of a decisive global position against Russian invasion.
Remember that on the night of July 31, Russia launched 317 drones and missiles throughout Ukraine. The main direction of the blow is Kyiv. Air Defense and Reb units interfered with 288 UAV and three scanander-k cruise missiles. In Kyiv, on August 1, the mourning was revealed as the memory of the victims of the massive Russian attacks on the capital.
The number of victims as a result of attacking Kyiv was 16 people, of which two children. 159 people were also injured.
