There are approximately 52,000 children in the Donetsk region today. Parents must be encouraged to evacuate them.
Donetsk region police announced their intention to evacuate all children from the region. Families were promised housing. This was stated in a message published on Friday, July 29, on the Facebook page of the National Police of Ukraine.
“The police not only evacuate families, but also, together with the Donetsk OVA, organize settlements – in safe regions of Ukraine and abroad. You can get help by calling hotline 0994235160,” law enforcement officials said.
As indicated, today approximately 52,000 children remain in the Donetsk region. They are under constant bombardment, in wet basements, without electricity, gas, water, without access to medical care, and for a long time – a cold winter without heating. In addition, children are deprived of the opportunity to learn.
Despite this, the National Police emphasized, parents must be encouraged to take their children out.
“Law enforcement officers will evacuate children if at least one of the parents wants it. The categorical refusal of both parents to evacuate will be recorded, and in the event of severe consequences, they will be responsible for the child’s life,” the department stressed.
Remember, according to the latest data, since the beginning of a large-scale war with Russia in Ukraine, 358 children have died, 690 more have been injured.
