The European Commission requires Kyiv to appoint the head of the Bureau of Economic Security (BAB) in accordance with the law and current selection and appointment procedures as soon as possible.

The European Commission emphasizes that the Baba reform is part of the wider obligations of Ukraine in the process of joining the EU.
KIV must appoint the director of the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine as soon as possible in accordance with the Law on Reforming babies and current selection and appointment procedures, ”the representative said.
This is necessary to promote the BAB reform and ensure its independent and effective functioning, ”he added.
