The White House leader said Israel had a “big responsibility” for the hunger facing Gaza residents, and reported plans aimed at improving the situation.
British prime minister Kir Starkmer said the British was angry at what they saw in a gas where the population was faced with a “catastrophe.” He said this on Monday, July 28, answering a journalist’s question at a meeting with US President Donald Trump, Politico reports.
In particular, journalists asked Trump if he agreed with the assessment of the Prime Minister of Israel Beniamin Netanyahu without hunger in gas, despite certificates of humanitarian organizations and the UN.
“Judging by television, I would say that not really, because these kids look hungry, but we provide a lot of money and food, and other countries are activated today,” the President replied.
“It’s a human human crisis,” Starmer added. “It’s a completely disaster. No one wants to see it. And I think that people in Britain are angry at what they see on their screens.”
According to Trump, Israel is carrying a “big responsibility” for the hunger that Gaza residents are facing, and new joint plans have been reported aimed at improving the situation.
“We create four centers … where people can go without restrictions,” he said. “We won’t have fences.”
The President explained that people “see food; all of this, but no one does it, because they are installed fences where no one can penetrate.”
“What’s going on there just madness,” he emphasized.
Starmer added that “the situation in the gas area is completely unbearable” and causes a feeling of disgust.
Remember, recently, the Ministry of Health on the Gaza Strip, controlled by Hamas, said that as a result of a long block and attack by Israel, 133 deaths were recorded due to hunger and malnutrition, including 87 children.
