Trump explained that he had spoken to Putin many times, but after the conversation, Russia continued to attack Ukraine.

US president Donald Trump said he was reducing his ultimatum term about a Truce in Ukraine to 10-12 days-to-first 50, which he was talking about about two weeks ago. According to Trump, he was “very disappointed with President Vladimir Putin.”

“I’m no longer interested in conversations,” Trump said at a joint meeting with British prime minister Kirmer in Scotland, where he came to a visit. This is the answer to the journalist’s question about whether Putin’s personal meeting will help the relationship between the two presidents and achieve a Truce in Ukraine.

The hard tariffs are close

Trump explained that he had spoken to Putin many times, but after the conversation, Russia continued to attack Ukraine.

He also said he was very generous to Putin, giving the President of Russia 50 days to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. In the absence of development on this issue, during the specified period, Trump threatened to introduce “very difficult tariffs” regarding Russian trading partners.

According to the US president, he now plans to reduce the Ultimatum term. “I think it will be 10-12 days, from now on,” Trump answered the journalist’s question about how long he was planning to reduce 50 days.

“There’s no reason to wait … In these 50 days I want to be generous, but we just don’t see any development,” Trump said.

The head of the office of the President of Ukraine Andrei Ermak thanked Trump “for a stable position and a clear message about the world with the help of power”.

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Federation’s Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, after President Trump’s next ultimatum, said he was approaching the war in Russia.

According to Medvedev, Trump “plays a game of ultimatums in Russia” and it should be noted that the Russian Federation is “not Israel and not even Iran.”

“Every new ultimatum is a threat and one step toward war. Not between Russia and Ukraine, but has his own country. Don’t follow Sleepy Joe’s path (as political opponents called Joe Bayden)!” He encouraged.

In the past, the same Medvedev said the ultimatumatyrampa was what Russia did not pay attention to.

Trump and Putin last spoke on the phone in early July. Then the US president remained dissatisfied with the conversation, announcing the doubts that Putin was really striving for a quick establishment of peace.

Erdogan is always willing to accept negotiations

Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan has expressed hope that the future talks between Ukraine and the Russian Federation are organized, the result of which is the cessation of war.

In the context of negotiations between the Ukraine and the Russian Federation, which took place in Istanbul, Erdogan noted that Türkiye strengthened its efforts in peaceful diplomacy.

“From the first day, we followed a balanced, fair and peaceful war policy between Russia and Ukraine,” he said.

The Turkish President emphasized that the war released by the Russian Federation should end, and also expressed willingness to fix the Ukraine-RF meeting at the level of state leaders.

“Turkey’s sincere intent is that the negotiation table was set in Istanbul, in the near future a table for peace negotiations was fixed in Turkey, and this bloody war ended,” Erdogan added.
