Hungarian opposition party leader Tisa Peter Magyar said he did not support Ukraine’s accelerated entry into the European Union, and also opens against the EU’s newly -recent budget. Magyar emphasized that the main purpose of the party’s policy was to convince the allies and to achieve the return of all EU funds where Hungary had the right. “We should manage the average European house responsible, with our allies. It also means that we do not support either the accelerated entry of Ukraine or the new EU budget,” Maniarda said.
He added that he was preparing a long, difficult conversation, but their goal was to find compromises to put Hungarians’ interest in the first place.
Currently, the Tisa opposition party, led by Magyar, preceded the ruling batch of prime minister Viktor Orban Fides of 15%, showing the results of surveys conducted at the end of June.
According to the survey, the Tisa Party, established over the total last year, had support for 51% of voters, while 36% of respondents said they would vote for fides. In March, according to the same sociological company, the opposition party Magyar had an advantage of 9%.
Earlier, Hungary’s current prime minister, Viktor Orban, now said that the “greatest threat” for his country was the entry of Ukraine into the European Union.
He also expressed criticism of the EU’s new budget draft, saying “The only purpose of this budget is the cunning and uncertain to accept Ukraine in the European Union.” Also, according to him, 20-25% of EU’s new budget is going to Ukraine.
